A 300 metre stretch adorned with towering Bamboo stalks which have bent and formed an arch canopy over the road known as 'The Bamboo Cathedral' It is said that the track leads to an old satellite tracking station up on the hill with amazing views of Tuker Valley and the North Coast of Trinidad. We definitely were not prepared for a hike that day.. so we did not venture too far up. We are hoping to return another day all geared with running shoes to make the trek up and do some exploring. It is a Nature lovers dream as you stroll through this picturesque setting taking in the pristine views and listening to the birds chirp.
Whether you are an avid runner or just taking a relaxing stroll or cycle with your family, it is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the island.
